Common questions
My sign-in code didn't arrive
afrottire for Tailors emails you a code. If it hasn't arrived:
- Check your spam or junk folder, and the Promotions tab in Gmail.
- Check the email address is spelled correctly.
- A code works for 10 minutes. If it is older, ask for a new one.
- Each new code replaces the one before, so use the code in the newest email. Give an email a minute or two to arrive before asking again: if you ask for too many codes, the app asks you to wait a little before trying again.
afrottire, the customer app, signs you in with your phone number. A code works for 10 minutes, and you can ask for a new one after 45 seconds.

How do I delete my account?
In afrottire for Tailors, tap More, then Delete my account. You can also ask us on the web. In the customer app you can delete your measurements yourself, and we close your account when you ask.
How does a customer's measurement link work?
- In afrottire for Tailors, the tailor opens a customer and sends them a measurement link, usually on WhatsApp.
- The customer opens the link in their phone's browser. There is nothing to install.
- The page says which tailor asked, and who will receive the details. The customer types their name (their phone number is optional), confirms they are 18 or over, and agrees to send their details to that tailor.
- They measure with their phone camera, in about 3 minutes. They need someone to take two photos, or a place to stand the phone. The measuring page explains what happens to the photos before they are taken.
- The measurements go straight into that customer's record in the tailor's book.
A measurement link works for 14 days; after that, the tailor can send a new one. Children are never measured through a link: the tailor measures them with a tape. Read the notice customers see on a link.
Where can I get the apps?
Both apps are in pilot testing, and coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. Tailors in the pilot can install the Android test version of afrottire for Tailors.
