Privacy and your customer book
afrottire is a product of Jabajenko Technologies. Your customer book is yours: you decide what goes in it, and we keep it safe for you.
Everything is saved on this phone first, and a copy goes to our servers in the USA, so nothing is lost if this phone is.
We do not sell your details or your customers' details, and we show no adverts.
You can delete your account and your whole book at any time, in the app or at https://app.afrottire.com/tailor/delete.
Who is responsible
afrottire is a product of Jabajenko Technologies. Address: Lagos, Nigeria. For your own account (your email address and business details) we are responsible. For your customer book (your customers, their measurements, orders and payments) you are responsible, and we store it on your behalf and follow your instructions.

What we keep
Your email address, which you sign in with, and your business details. We send your sign-in codes to it through an email delivery company.
Your customer book: customers, measurements, orders, payments, expenses, design cards, fabric receipts, aso-ebi groups, designs and the photos you add. Photos are made smaller on this phone, and our server removes the hidden details in them, including the location.
For each phone you use: a random number for the phone, the app's version, and when it last synced.
Why
To keep your book safe and the same on every phone you sign in on, to make the links you send to customers work, and to show your designs in the afrottire shop when you send them there.
Who sees it
You. A customer you send a link to sees only that page: their design card, their fabric receipt, or the page to send their measurements.
Designs you send to the shop are checked by the small team that runs afrottire, and customers see them once they are in the shop.
That team sees your book only to keep the service working or when you ask for help.
Google Cloud runs our servers in Iowa, USA, for us. Your connection passes through Tailscale's network, encrypted.
Nobody else. We do not sell anyone's details.
Where and how long
On this phone until you delete the app. On our servers for as long as you have an account. Each night a backup copy is saved on a computer of Jabajenko Technologies, and each backup is deleted after 28 days. We know of no decision by Nigeria's Data Protection Commission that the USA gives equal protection: Nigerian data protection law may be harder to enforce there, and US authorities can in some cases require access to data held there.
When you delete your account, your book is deleted from our servers within 30 days.
Your customers' details
Add only people who are happy for you to keep their details. Delete a customer when they ask you to. Every link you send tells the customer who will receive their details, and asks them to agree first.
Children are measured by you, with a tape, with their parent there. Never photograph a child to measure them.
Your rights
To get a copy of your book, use Export everything. To correct it, change it in the app. To delete it, use Delete my account, or https://app.afrottire.com/tailor/delete.
